Lumos! Online medical collaborative research made easy.
Lumos! is a platform that enables doctors to cooperate in studies that are carried out online. Our inspiration stems from observing teams of doctors, working together in difficult contexts, where there is either a small EMR installation base or high incompatibility between programs or data inconsistency or a user-unfriendly program.

We have been working with two associations of General Practitioners / Family Physicials with the objective to help them carry out quantitative observational and cohort studies.
We also published the results of a study in the Telemedicine and e-Health journal, which was based on a modified version of the Lumos! Platform.
We are a small start-up with the dream to fully develop this platform as a stand-alone software package and as a cloud service.
Moreover, we believe in the mobile future of Health and would like to invest in developing mobile apps based on the Lumos! platform. Nonetheless, we are aware that there are places and contexts without Internet connectivity, such as the rural regions, and we have already invested in creating an Offline version of our platform, which synchronizes with the server when a connection is available.
